Little Amos Acres is a real place in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Surrounded by mountains, “the small donkey farm at the top of the hill” is the home of Lisa, her husband, “Farmer Dave” and the donkeys and farm animals included in Lisa’s tales. Lisa’s children, their spouses, and her grandchildren make frequent visits to the farm where they enjoy Sunday dinners and spending time together and with Lisa and Dave.
Little Amos Acres has housed many animals over the years, both purchased and rescued. Everyone in the family has a love of animals and take an interest in supporting each other and the farm’s operations. For most of the animals here, Little Amos Acres is their forever home, and they are well-loved and cared for as members of the family.
